Welcome to Online Electron Microscopy

With the support of the W. M. Keck Foundation, the Online Electron Microscopy Platform at Portland State University is under development to offer nanoscience education to undergraduates via adaptive and intelligent virtual instrument simulators. These simulators include transmission electron microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, and focused ion beam microscopy. These virtual simulators create an interactive, adaptive learning environment for state of art instruments without time and space limits.
